About Savvy Expressions

Stacey Porter, owner of Savvy Expressions, moved to Champaign-Urbana in 1998 to attend the University of IL. She graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and has since settled into the local community. Planning her own wedding, just over a few years ago, she knows first hand how stressful and time consuming it can be. She also knows how much she enjoyed it! The fact that last month people were still talking about the wedding says it all! It made a lasting impression.

Always having been a "people person", Stacey enjoys working with others on a daily basis and creating for them what they envision in their event. "I fell into event management by pure luck a few years ago working for a local ballroom, but creating Savvy Expressions was a choice and continues to be a passion."

Ms. Porter's long term goals include taking Savvy Expressions to a new level by building a gorgeous villa (location to be determined!!). There clients can host gala events in style, complete with on-site vendors, picturesque locations, and service that can't be beat!

Savvy Expressions is adamant about giving an amazing impression. For this reason, your event will be detailed and organized by a hard working consultant, who will go above and beyond to make sure it is everything you pictured and more. We will always put the client first, and cannot stress enough that it is your event.
